EQ Dashboard is a freelance client of mine, specializing in emotional intelligence training. They help leaders and teams become more effective with innovative software, validated self-discovery, and research-based content.
My work for them ranges from content strategy to content creation and execution, as well as long and short-form copywriting.
Real-time marketing has proven especially effective for this client, as showcased in the examples below. Tweet impressions rose nearly 500% after aligning messaging and timing to align with pop culture events including the 2018 Academy Awards and the season finale of The Bachelor.
Messaging was also aligned with Oscar-nominated films prior to the award ceremony to give it more of a pop culture punch.
The evolution of the brand’s tone, voice and messaging has been a fascinating one for me. As I’ve stated previously, I always aim to make my social content “edutaining” (educational + entertaining), so it’s been a treat to take the reins on this one.
The company was started by two Ivy League professors, so while it always had the credibility piece of the puzzle, introducing the very important concept of emotional intelligence to a larger audience has been one of my highlights working with EQ Dashboard.
